Burford Group Limited purchase of shares

Burford Capital Limited (the "Company") announces that on 30 May 2012 the Company was notified, in accordance with DTR 3.1.2 R, that Burford Group Limited had bought 25,000 ordinary shares of the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") on 30 May 2012 at 108 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Burford Group Limited now holds 50,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.03% of the issued Ordinary Share Capital of the Company.
