BUILDING SAFETY PLEDGE

Following the Group's announcement on 5 April 2022 of its intention to sign the Building Safety Pledge (the "Pledge"), Crest Nicholson Holdings plc today announces it has signed the Pledge without requiring further regulatory approval.

As stated in the announcement of 5 April 2022, the Board considers that an exceptional charge in the range of £80m to £120m currently represents its best estimate of the further liability that will arise by signing the Pledge.

The Group looks forward to providing an update on progress against its strategy at the half year results announcement on 14 June 2022.
