Tullow Oil plc

A block listing application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the Irish Stock Exchange for a total of 9,000,000 Ordinary Shares of nominal value GBP£0.10 each, in the capital of Tullow Oil plc, to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange, and application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for such shares to be admitted to trading. These shares will be allotted from time to time following the exercise of share options pursuant to the Tullow Oil plc 2000 Executive Share Option Scheme (5,500,000 shares), the Tullow Oil plc 2010 Share Option Scheme (500,000 shares) and the Tullow Oil 2005 Performance Share Plan (3,000,000 shares).
