Aminex PLC28 March 2006 AMINEX PLC ("Aminex" or "the Company") Aminex PLC today announces that, in accordance with a Participation Agreementwith Upstream Petroleum Services Limited in respect of an Acquisition of aSeismic Options offshore Kenya signed (as outlined in an announcement dated 15March 2006), it has settled the balance of US$250,000 for its share of thefinancing of the preliminary seismic programme and geochemical surveys throughthe issue of new Aminex Ordinary Shares. Aminex has therefore made application to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UKlisting Authority for 483,618 Ordinary Shares of nominal value of €0.06 each inthe capital of Aminex to be admitted to the Official List of the Irish StockExchange and the Official List of the Listing Authority and application has beenmade to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.Such admission is expected to become effective and dealings to commence in theShares at the start of business on 30 March 2006.
