Elan Corporation PLC11 April 2005 Elan Corporation PLC ("ELAN") Brochure of Particulars Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK ListingAuthority for 5,446,409 Ordinary Shares of nominal value €0.05 each in thecapital of Elan to be admitted to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchangeand the UK Listing Authority and application has been made to the Irish StockExchange and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted totrading. Of these shares, 5,294,754 have been allotted pursuant to the exercise ofemployee share options, 143,000 pursuant to the exercise of Consultant optionsand 12 pursuant to the exercise of warrants. Former Dura shareholders have beenallotted 8,643. The new shares have been issued pursuant to the exercise of options and rankpari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares.
