Independent News & Media PLC17 November 2006 Independent News and Media plc ("INM" or "The Company") Brochure of Particulars A block listing application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to theUK Listing Authority for a total of 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares of Nominal Value€0.30 each, in the capital of INM, to be admitted to the Official List of the UKListing Authority and to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange andapplication has been made to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to beadmitted to trading. Such admission is expected to become effective and dealingsto commence in these shares on 20 November 2006.
