Renewable Energy Generation Ltd19 June 2006 Announcement Renewable Energy Generation Ltd announces commencement of construction of a newwind farm at Braich Ddu, Wales. Renewable Energy Generation Ltd ("REG") the AIM listed investor in renewableenergy generation projects, today announces that its UK operating subsidiary TheCornwall Light & Power Co. Ltd ("CLP") has placed an order for turbine supply inrespect of its Braich Ddu wind project in Gwynedd. This follows finalconsideration of the planning application and conditions by the Local PlanningAuthority on the 12 June. Braich Ddu's total capacity is 3.9MW and it will utilise 3 Nordex 1.3MWturbines. CLP has placed orders with Nordex UK Ltd (a subsidiary of Nordex AG ofGermany) for these machines. They are scheduled for delivery to the project inJanuary 2007. The construction of Braich Ddu is in addition to the two projectsannounced last week by REG. REG is pleased with the close working relationship established with Nordex,which has allowed both companies to promptly arrange construction of threeprojects in the UK. Nordex are already delivering turbines in November andDecember 2006, and now continuing into January 2007. All three projects form part of the 24 project portfolio acquired from NPowerRenewables late last year. When operational these three plants, together withCLP's existing plant at Goonhilly Downs in Cornwall, will increase REG's totalUK generating capacity to 16MW.
