Placing of shares owned by the Bovill Family Concert Party
On 19 March 2013 the Bovill Family announced its intention to seek a buyer for its aggregate interest in 2,972,405 Treatt ordinary shares representing 29.07% of the voting rights of Treatt. In the same announcement Bjornstad and Jendal A/S who owned 348,453 Treatt ordinary shares, had agreed to co-operate with the Bovill Family with a view to a sale of their collective interests in Treatt ordinary shares.
In response to the announcement on 19 March, the Company issued a press release stating that the Board of Treatt would be willing to assist the Bovill Family in finding investors willing to buy all or part of their shareholding.
The Board of Treatt is pleased to announce that 3,299,445 Treatt ordinary shares owned by the Bovill Family and Bjornstad and Jendal A/S have today been placed with institutional investors at a price of 520p per share ("the Placing").
