Board of Directors of Sistema to consider appointing new President

Moscow, Russia - 01 March 2018 - Sistema PJSFC ("Sistema" or the "Corporation") (LSE: SSA, MOEX: AFKS) a publicly traded diversified Russian holding company, announces that a meeting of the Board of Directors shall take place on 2 March 2018 that will consider changes to the composition of the Corporation's senior management.

The Nomination, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee of Sistema today made a recommendation to the Board of Directors of Sistema to appoint Andrey Dubovskov, President of PJSC MTS, to the position of President of the Corporation in connection with the planned transition of Mikhail Shamolin to a different position within Sistema Group.

The Corporation will announce the decision of the Board of Directors regarding the proposed changes to the senior management of the Corporation following the meeting of the Board of Directors.

Andrey Dubovskov was appointed as President and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC MTS in March 2011.

He has extensive experience in telecommunications. After beginning his career in 1993 at Millicom International Cellular, he worked at LLC RSS, CJSC 800 and a number of companies in Moscow, Almaty, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm and other cities. From 2002 to 2004, he was CEO of Tele2 Group in Nizhny Novgorod.

In 2004, he joined MTS Group as the head of the Company's Nizhny Novgorod branch. In 2006-2007, he was regional director of MTS's Ural branch. In 2007, he worked as first deputy CEO at CJSC UMS (MTS Ukraine), and became head of PrJSC MTS Ukraine in 2008.
