Board Update

Following the Annual General Meeting held on Thursday 23rd May, the Board of JKX now consists of Christian Bukovics, Andrey Shtyrba, Michael Bakunenko and Victor Gladun.

The Directors believe that the Board continues to have the appropriate balance of skills, experience, independence and knowledge of the Company. Governance issues, including membership of the relevant Board Committees, are being considered.

Recognising that Mr Bukovics and Mr Shtyrba will be leaving the Board at the end of their three months' notice period, the Board are in the process of appointing consultants to assist in the search for appropriate non-executive independent directors. 

The Company's strategy remains unchanged and in line with previously adopted multi-year field development plans for its Ukrainian and Russian assets.
