Northern 3 VCT PLC27 September 2007 NORTHERN 3 VCT PLC Board of directors Northern 3 VCT PLC announces the retirement of Mr Barry Sealey as anon-executive director with effect from 26 September 2007. At a board meeting held on 26 September 2007, Mr John Waddell was appointed tothe board as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Mr Waddell is aged 51 and has wide ranging UK and international businessexperience, particularly in investment, mergers and acquisitions. From 2001 to2005 he was a director of Noble Grossart Limited and prior to that heldpositions as head of strategic planning at Bank of Scotland and director oflegal services at Christian Salvesen plc. He is currently chief executive ofArchangel Informal Investment Limited, a Scottish-based syndicate of individualprivate equity investors. There are no further disclosures to be made under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) - (6) ofthe Listing Rules in relation to Mr Waddell's appointment.
