Board Committee Membership

London 7 June 2013: In accordance with Rule 9.6.11(3) of the Listing Rules, the Board of Directors of Ophir Energy plc ("the Company") announce that the following changes have been made to the membership of its Board committees, with effect from 6 June 2013:

 

Audit Committee: Mr Bill Schrader has been appointed to the Audit Committee in place of Mr Dennis McShane who previously left the Audit Committee on becoming an executive director of the Company

 

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Committee: Mr Bill Schrader has been appointed to the HSE Committee in place of Jon Taylor who retired from the Committee following his retirement from the Board at the Company's 2013 AGM

 

Nominations Committee: Dr Nick Cooper has been appointed to the Nominations Committee as an additional member

 

In addition, the Board has established a new Technical Advisory Committee. Mr Alan Booth has been appointed chairman of the Technical Committee and its initial members will be Dr Nick Cooper, Mr Bill Schrader and Mr John Lander. The terms of reference of the Technical Advisory Committee will be made available on the Company's website in due course.
