Board Changes

Synergy Health plc, a leading global provider of outsourced sterilisation services to the medical device market and healthcare sector announces the following forthcoming changes to its Board of Directors (the "Board").

Mr Robert Lerwill, who has served as a Non-Executive Director since January 2005 and as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company since September 2010, has informed the Board of his intention to stand down from the Board on publication of the Company's preliminary results for the year ending 31st March, 2012. The preliminary results will be announced on 7th June, 2012 and Robert will therefore retire from the Board on that date.

Sir Duncan Nichol, Senior Independent Director will take up the role of Chairman at that time. The Board will then be constituted as follows: -

·; Sir Duncan Nichol - Non-executive Chairman

·; Dr. Richard Steeves - Group Chief Executive Officer

·; Gavin Hill - Group Finance Director

·; Constance Baroudel - Non-executive Director

·; Liz Hewitt - Non-executive Director

The Board Committees will at that time be constituted as follows: -

·; Audit: L. Hewitt (Chair), D. Nichol and C. Baroudel

·; Remuneration C.Baroudel (Chair), D. Nichol and L. Hewitt

·; Nomination D Nichol (Chair), C. Baroudel and L. Hewitt

Robert Lerwill, Chairman of Synergy Health said:
