Energetix Group plc17 March 2008 Press Release 17 March 2008 Energetix Group plc ("Energetix" or "the Group") Board Changes Energetix Group plc (AIM: EGX), a leading developer of new and sustainablealternative energy products, is pleased to announce that Dr. Henry JosephCialone (aged 52) has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Group. As a senior executive, most notably at Battelle Memorial Institute ("Battelle")between 1981 and 2005, Henry has a record of creating new business opportunitiesthrough technological innovation. Indeed, during his years at Battelle, hehelped develop and manage a considerable alternative energy portfolio,ultimately leading the commercial energy business and serving on the governingboard of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory ("NREL"). Since 2005 Henry hasbeen President and CEO of Edison Welding Institute, North America's leadingindependent materials joining technology organisation and is responsible for theUS Navy Joining Center. He has also led an advisory team to President George W.Bush on advanced energy technologies, including fuel cells. Among other appointments Henry is a member of the Board of Trustees for theMidwest Research Institute, on the Miami University Research Advisory Counciland Vice Chairman of the Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition. Henry has known Energetix and members of its board since 2003, having beeninstrumental in Battelle's joint venture with Energetix Group. Henry has a BSdegree in materials engineering from Brown University, in addition to MS and PhDdegrees in materials science, also from Brown. Henry replaces Bryan Gray, who is stepping down from the Board due to othercommitments. Bryan will continue to support Genlec in a consultancy role, inparticular as Genlec's representative on the Micropower Council.
