Board Changes
London, UK, 2 July 2013: The Board of Sierra Rutile Limited (AIM: SRX) ("Sierra Rutile") announces that Michael Barton will step down as a non-executive director with effect from the close of the 2013 annual general meeting to be held at 3pm on 9 July 2013 ("2013 AGM"). Accordingly, Sierra Rutile does not intend to put resolution 8 (re-appointment of Michael Barton as a non-executive director), as set out in the notice of the 2013 AGM, to shareholders at the 2013 AGM.

Over the last two years, he has been working closely with the management of Sierra Rutile on its growth projects, marketing strategy and strategic plans. Commenting on the appointment and departure, Jan Castro, Chairman of Sierra Rutile, said: "We would like to thank Michael for the experience and insight he brought to the Board. As a director he made a significant contribution to Sierra Rutile's business and governance, and we wish him well for the future. We are delighted to welcome Martyn to the Board.
