Board Changes

The People's Operator (AIM: TPOP), the cause-based commercial mobile virtual network operator ("MVNO"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Simpson as a Non-Executive Director, subject to confirmation at the next AGM of the Company.

Julia is currently Chief of Staff at International Consolidated Airlines Group, S.A., the FTSE 100 and IBEX 35 listed airline company, where she is responsible for global communications, government relations and executive administration and business services. She is a member of the operating Board of both British Airways and Iberia.

Julia was previously Head of Corporate Communications at British Airways and prior to that, she was adviser to the UK Prime Minister on strategic communication issues. She held a number of key communication positions in government and the public sector, including: assistant chief executive at the London Borough of Camden; and head of communications at the Communication Workers Union. She started her career as a journalist. She is a graduate of Warwick University in Spanish and European Studies.

TPO also announces that it has been agreed with Marisa Cassoni and Christian Hernandez Gallardo that they will step down from the Board either prior to or on completion of the terms of their contracts on 31 October 2017.
