Board Changes
Earthport, the global payments utility company, today announces that Executive Chairman Mike Harrison is moving to the position of Non Executive Chairman effective today.
Non Executive Director Lance Browne is increasing his commitment to the Company by becoming Non Executive Vice Chairman effective today.
James Bergman, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Mike Harrison has done a great job as Executive Chairman over the past four and a half years. We continue to make good progress and active engagement with global financial institutions and corporates is now the future of Earthport. He has fully played his part in achieving this progress.
We are delighted that Lance is happy to move to Vice Chairman, demonstrating his belief in the future of the Company. His knowledge of the banking sector and his position in China and the Far East are very valuable to the Board."
Mike Harrison, Chairman, stated, "The Board and I firmly believe that now is the right time to pass on full Executive responsibility to James. Lance's increased responsibility provides further strength to the business and I am personally pleased that Earthport's strategically significant business model is now being adopted so widely."
