Asia Resource Minerals plc ("ARMS" or the "Company")
Board Changes
ARMS is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Hamish Tyrwhitt to the Board of the Company as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Mr Tyrwhitt spent 28 years at Leighton Holdings, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director from 2011 to 2014. In this role, he oversaw the world's largest contract miner and one of the top ten construction companies, operating in 23 countries and directly employing over 57,000 people.
Since 2011, My Tyrwhitt has also served on various Boards and Advisory Bodies, including: The Business Council of Australia; The Australian Constructors Association; The World Economic Forum; The Prime Minister's B20; Infrastructure Partnerships Australia; and the Prime Minister's Strategic Advisory Board on Australia in the Asian Century.
In addition, Mr Tyrwhitt holds Fellowships of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, and The Institute of Civil Engineers, Australia. He is a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers and the College of Civil Engineers, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from the University of Western Australia.
No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules in relation to this appointment.
