DANIEL STEWART SECURITIES PLC
(AIM: DAN)
("Daniel Stewart" or "the Company")
BOARD CHANGES
Daniel Stewart, stockbroker and corporate finance adviser to smaller and medium-sized companies, announces that further to its statement on 21 May 2010, Adam Wilson has now stepped down from his role as Non Executive Director.
As stated, the Company, in conjunction with Mr Wilson, agreed to delay his previously announced permanent move back from the Middle East to the UK for up to 12 months. This decision was taken so that Mr Wilson can continue to assist international distribution throughout Africa, the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) and Middle East.
The Company's international expansion has helped underpin a turnaround during the first quarter of the current period - with both April and May expected to be profitable (un-audited).
Peter Shea, Chairman and Chief Executive of Daniel Stewart, said: "We are delighted with the momentum achieved in recent months and see Adam as an integral component in continuing this trend. The level of interest from international markets remains high and we hope to continue benefiting from Adam's impressive contact base."
