Mr Maine, age 54, is a highly experienced telecoms and media executive andconsultant whose previous positions include Chief Executive Officer of KingstonCommunications plc between 1997 and 2003. He is currently an independentconsultant working primarily for private equity firms and financial advisers onpotential transactions. Since September 2000, Mr Maine has been a Non-ExecutiveDirector of SMG plc, the media group. Between 1974 and 1995, Mr Maine worked for BT plc in a variety of rolesincluding Director of Visual and Broadcast Services (a BT division providingvideo, cable TV and satellite services) and Director, Global CommunicationsIndia (a BT division addressing the deregulated telecoms market in India). In addition to Mr Maine's appointment to the Board, the Company announces thatMark Willard, the Company's founder and executive President, will become aNon-Executive Director and that both Dean Shakespeare and Ged Holmes,Non-Executive Directors, will step down from the Board.
