Majestic Wine PLC05 August 2005 Majestic Wine PLC (the "Company") 5 August 2005 Board Change and AGM Results The Company is pleased to announce that at its AGM, held this morning at 11.30a.m., all the Ordinary Resolutions and Special Resolutions outlined in theNotice of the Meeting dated 13 June 2005 were duly passed. As notified to shareholders in our announcement on 6 January 2005, the Companyalso confirms that following today's AGM, John Apthorp, the Company's Chairman,is retiring. Simon Burke, who has served on the Board of Majestic Wine PLC since March 2000as a non-executive Director, has succeeded John Apthorp as the Company'sChairman.
