Board Change - Chief Financial Officer

John Menzies plc (the "Company" or the "Group"), today announces that Paula Bell, Chief Financial Officer, has given notice of her intention to resign from her position in order to join the Board of Spirent Communications Plc as Chief Financial Officer.

Paula will remain with the Group to ensure an orderly handover of her responsibilities and we have therefore agreed that she will leave her post on 29 July 2016.

The Company is pleased to announce that Giles Wilson will be appointed as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 July 2016. Giles qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999 and has been with the Group for five years in a variety of senior roles including Finance Director of Menzies Aviation. Most recently he has been based in Dubai as Senior Vice President of our Middle East, India and African regions.

Prior to joining John Menzies plc, Giles held a number of senior finance positions in both publicly listed and privately held companies. Giles worked with Gallaher Group PLC for six years, initially in the Business Development function where he was part of the team delivering on a number of high profile acquisitions and latterly as the Gallaher UK Finance Director, the then most profitable division of Gallaher Group PLC. He then spent five years as Finance Director of Commercial Estates Group, a large privately owned UK wide property company.

There are no further details to be disclosed under 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
