Board Change and Appointment of Interim Company Secretary

Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of dry bulk and container vessels, announces today a change to its Board of Directors.

Konstantinos Kabanaros has informed the Company that he wishes to retire from the Board of Goldenport, effective December 31. Mr. Kabanaros has been an Executive Director since November 2005.

Chris Walton, Chairman of the Company, stated:

"I would like to thank Mr. Kabanaros for his longstanding contribution to the Board."

Goldenport also wishes to announce that Kalliopi Kyriakakou has assumed the responsibilities of Interim Company Secretary with immediate effect following the resignation of Vassiliki Papaspyrou.
