Arden Partners plc (AIM: ARDN), the institutional stockbroking company, is disappointed to announce that Luke Johnson has stepped down from his role as Chairman of the Board of Arden with immediate effect. Mr Johnson's other commitments have resulted in him stepping down from the role.

Luke Johnson has been instrumental in focussing the team on its core values and areas of expertise through a period of great challenges in the industry. Mr Johnson has been a strong supporter of the Company. The Board of Arden thanks him for his efforts.

The Board of Arden has commenced a search for a new chairperson. Mark Ansell, the Company's Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, has assumed the chair in the interim.
