BOARD CHANGE
The Board of Clarkson PLC is pleased to announce that Andi Case, currently interim Chief Executive, will become Clarksons' new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Andi joined Clarksons in 2006, as Managing Director of Global Broking, from Braemar Seascope, and was previously with Eggar Forrester and CW Kellock.
Tim Harris, Chairman of Clarkson PLC, commented: "Andi Case's long standing industry expertise will be invaluable in further developing Clarksons. The business has grown from strength to strength over the last five years and the Board is extremely pleased that Andi will lead the Company through its next phase of development, as it looks to build on its heritage in broking and further grow the range of shipping services it offers to its clients around the world."
Clarksons confirms that there are no disclosures to be made in respect of Andi Case, pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
