Board Change
Judges Scientific, the group focused on acquiring and developing companies in the scientific instrument sector, announces the appointment of Lushani Kodituwakku as an independent Non-Executive Director from 23 September 2020.
Lushani is the founder and CEO of Luminii Consulting, a consulting firm specialising in strategy, Commercial Due Diligence ("CDD") and value creation. She founded Luminii in 2017 after setting up and heading the Grant Thornton Strategy and CDD team in 2008 and holding various other senior roles with KPMG, Frost & Sullivan, PMSI and Neovian Partners.
Lushani has delivered several complex strategy & CDD projects since 1999 to large corporates, SMEs, private equity, venture capital and banks in the UK, Europe and USA looking to invest, enter new markets, diversify, redefine their business strategy and business models, making her one of the most experienced CDD and strategy advisors in the UK.
Lushani holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics with first-class honours, and a Master of Research (MRes) in Management and Organisational Behaviour.
Lushani will also join the Remuneration committee, replacing Alex Hambro. The Board committees will comprise as follows:
Remuneration committee - Charles Holroyd (chair), Ralph Elman, Lushani Kodituwakku
Audit committee - Ralph Elman (chair), Charles Holroyd, Ralph Cohen
