Board Change
IFG Group plc is pleased to announce the co-option of Evelyn Bourke to the Board of the company as a Non-Executive Director as of 25 August 2011.
Evelyn joined Friends Provident plc on 1 May 2009 as CFO. Friends Provident Holdings became Friends Life Group earlier this year. She was recently appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Friends Life Group and is responsible for Group Strategy and Capital in addition to the Friends Life UK Heritage business.
Evelyn, a qualified actuary with an MBA from London Business School, has significant experience in financial services having been CEO of Chase de Vere Investments plc (an IFA), Group Strategy and Planning Director and CFO of the UK business of Standard Life plc and a principal at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin. She is also a non executive director of The Children's Mutual.
Joe Moran, Chairman, said that he welcomed Evelyn to the IFG Group plc Board and was looking forward to working with her, adding:
