15 March 2013 - The Company has been informed by Glanbia Co-Operative Society Limited (the "Society") that at a Council meeting of the Society the nominations of Mr. Robert Prendergast and Mr. Brendan Hayes were not ratified for re-appointment to the Board of the Society. Further, the Company has been informed they will cease to be directors of the Society immediately following its forthcoming annual general meeting. Under Article 88(g) of the Articles of Association of the Company when Mr. Prendergast and Mr. Hayes cease to be directors of the Society, they automatically cease to be directors of the Company, as Society nominees to the Company's Board. The Society has also advised that it will inform the Company of replacement nominees in due course.
