Board Change

PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia ingredients, announces that Mr. John Slosar and Mr. Sunny Verghese (both Non-Executive Directors of PureCircle) have advised the Company that owing to increasing business commitments they wish to retire as directors of PureCircle with effect from today. Mr. Slosar has recently been appointed Chairman of The Swire Group in Hong Kong and Mr. Verghese has increased his responsibilities with Olam International.

The Board accepts with regret Mr. Slosar's and Mr. Verghese's resignations and wishes to thank them for their contribution to the Company over the past years.

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment, effective today, of Mr. Christopher Pratt, as a Non-Executive Director of PureCircle.

Christopher Dale Pratt, aged 57, was formerly the Chairman of Swire Pacific Limited, John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited and Swire Properties Limited. He was also a director of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and Air China Limited. He joined the Swire Group in 1978 and has worked with the group in Hong Kong, China, Australia and Papua New Guinea. Mr. Pratt received a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in 2000.

As of the date of this announcement, Mr. Pratt directly holds 686,916 shares in PureCircle, representing 0.42% of the total voting rights in the Company.

A list of Mr. Pratt's directorships and partnerships over the past five years is included as an appendix below.

Save for the information set out in this announcement, there are no other matters in relation to Mr. Pratt's appointment that require disclosure under the AIM Rules.

On the above Board changes, Mr. Paul Selway-Swift, Chairman of PureCircle said "the Board is sorry to lose people of John Slosar's and Sunny Verghese's experience.
