Board appointments
St. Modwen Properties PLC, the UK's leading regeneration specialist, has appointed, with immediate effect, two new non-executive Directors; Katherine Innes Ker and Lesley James, the latter of whom will also become the Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
After an early career in Molecular Biophysics at Oxford University, Katherine spent a decade in the City before pursuing a career as a non-executive Director for a number of companies including: The Television Corporation PLC; Fibernet Group plc; Williams Lea PLC; Gyrus Group PLC; and Shed Media PLC. She currently holds non-executive directorships for Taylor Wimpey PLC and Tribal Group PLC.
Lesley has a Human Resources background, working with Delta Metal, RHM, Sketchley, Savacentre and Tesco PLC; the latter including five years' main board experience as Group H.R. Director. Since leaving Tesco she has held a number of non-executive positions for companies such as Queens Moat Houses plc; Care UK plc; Alpha Airports Group plc; Inspicio plc; Liberty International Plc; and Selfridges plc. She is currently a non-executive Director of Anchor Trust and West Bromwich Building Society.
The Company confirms that there is no further information requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
