TEG Environmental Plc07 March 2005 For release 7:00am 7 March 2005 TEG Environmental Plc Board Appointment Tanja Willis becomes Group Finance Director TEG Environmental Plc ("TEG" or "the Company"), the leading edge greentechnology company which converts organic wastes into natural organicfertilizer, announces that Tanja Willis has been appointed as Group FinanceDirector, with immediate effect. Tanja (aged 31), has been the Company'sFinancial Controller and Company Secretary since 8 November 2004 and willcontinue to be based at TEG's Head Office in Preston. She joined TEG in June2004 as Financial Manager from Preston North End Plc, operators of aprofessional football league club, where she was for two years up to 2004, themanagement accountant reporting directly to their Financial Director. Prior to this Tanja was at Blackpool Borough Council as a Project Accountant ontemporary assignment. Before that, she was for four years the Financial Managerof international manufacturers of window coverings and architectural products,Hunter Douglas SA (Pty) Ltd. At Hunter Douglas, which comprised 160 companieswith 64 factories, 96 assembly operations and marketing organisations in over160 countries, Tanja reported directly to the Financial Controller based inRotterdam. Tanja began her career at Electronic Accounting, a Chartered AccountingPractice, before graduating from the University of South Africa with a Bachelorin Accounting Sciences in 2003. She is married. Her hobbies include hiking andswimming. Commenting, Dick Bilborough, Chief Executive of TEG, said: "Tanja has excelledin her roles as Finance Controller and Company Secretary since joining theCompany last June. We are pleased that she has accepted the position of FinanceDirector. This was underlined by the Cityand County of Swansea recently approving the acceptance of TEG's proposals forthe provision of our TEG Silo-Cage in-vessel composting systems, valued at£925,000."
