IFG Group PLC06 September 2007 IFG GROUP PLC Board Appointment at IFG Group plc (the "Company") IFG Group plc is pleased to announce that Gary Owens who was appointed ChiefExecutive Officer of IFG Ireland in July 2007, has been co-opted as an ExecutiveDirector of the Company, effective immediately. Mr Owens, aged 48, has fulfilled many senior roles in both the Life and GeneralInsurance industries and has an excellent track record in building new andmulti-distribution capabilities in the financial services industry. He was Managing Director of Hibernian General Insurance Company until July 2003.He is currently Chairman of Athletics Ireland and on the Board of theInstitute of Sport. 6.6.13 Listing Rules Information In compliance with paragraph 6.6.13 of the Listing Rules I now confirm thefollowing information in relation to Mr Gary Owens, who was appointed a Directorof IFG Group plc on 6 September 2007.
