Board Appointment

China Private Equity Investments Holdings Limited announces that Conor MacNamara has joined the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Mr MacNamara is a partner of Adamas Asset Management (formerly Gen2 Partners Limited) ("Adamas") responsible for capital raising for all of their funds, including the Asia /Japan fund of funds and the Asia and Greater China private equity funds. He is an experienced investment banker with significant experience in structuring alternative investment products. Mr MacNamara has spent most of his career in the Japanese and Asian markets, holding senior positions at a number of institutions including ABN Amro / RBS Global Banking, Gen Re Securities and RBC Dominion Securities.

Commenting on the appointment of Conor MacNamara, CPE's Executive Chairman, John Croft, said, "We are delighted to welcome Conor to the board of directors of CPE. We look forward to progressing our relationship with Adamas and I believe that the Company will benefit from Conor's experience in the Asian markets as well as his ability to source capital for investment."
