Board Appointment

The Board of The Stanley Gibbons Group plc is pleased to announce that Simon Perrée has been appointed an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 May 2013.

Simon, aged 42, was born and is resident in Jersey. He co-founded online retailer Play.com in 1998. Play.com quickly became the largest private online retailer in the UK, with over 7 million customers and a catalogue of over 8 million products. After selling Play.com in 2011, Simon founded venture capital company NetCap and has since invested in several online businesses. With over 14 years' experience in e-commerce, he has an in-depth knowledge of internet technology, operations and online marketing.

On appointment Mr Perrée holds 18,500 ordinary 1p shares in the Company.

The Company confirms that there is no other information which is required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the Aim Rules for Companies.

Results of the Annual General Meeting
