Board Appointment
PROACTIS Holdings PLC (AIM: PHD), the specialist Spend Control software company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark McCarthy to the Board as an Executive Director with effect from 30 September 2008.
Mark James McCarthy, age 32, was one of the founding employees of PROACTIS in 1996, when he was responsible for marketing. In this role Mark developed the "spend control" brand and established the Group's successful channel partner programme, before leaving in 2003. Mark rejoined the company in 2006 to lead UK sales and is now responsible for sales and marketing across the Group.
Mark, who holds a BA (Hons) in European Marketing from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Ecole Superier de Commerce in Caen, France, has also held previous positions with CODA plc, SSA Global Technologies, Inc. and Outlooksoft, Inc.
Rod Jones, Chief Executive Officer commenting on Mark's appointment said:

Mark is beneficially interested in 3,125 Ordinary shares of 10p, representing 0.001% of the Company's issued share capital.
There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (g) to (viii) of the AIM Rules.
