Sigma, the property and urban regeneration specialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of William ("Bill") MacLeod as an Executive Director, with immediate effect. This new appointment, together with the appointments announced on 7 February, reflects a further strengthening of Sigma's Board of Directors as the Company grows.

Bill MacLeod, aged 47, has over 25 years' experience of property investment, including real estate investment management. For five years until 2008, he was Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield Investors, which provided specialist property fund management advice for a range of pension funds, local authorities and charities, and managed £4.1 billion of assets. Before that, he was a Director at ING Real Estate Investment Management, where he played a major role in launching the ING UK Property Income Fund and managed a number of segregated accounts. Based in London, Bill is currently Managing Director of Torrin Asset Management, his own asset management business, raising funds for clients and advising on property investment and development. At Sigma, Bill will utilise his significant experience to assist the Board with capitalising further on the opportunities that the Company is currently developing.
