("Sigma" or "the Group")
Board Appointment
Sigma, the finance, property and urban regeneration group, is delighted to announce the appointment of Graeme Hogg to the Board as Partnership Director with immediate effect. Graeme is currently a Director of Sigma Inpartnership Ltd, the Group's urban regeneration business which Graeme co-founded and which was acquired by Sigma in August 2011.
Graeme is responsible for managing two of the Group's three local authority partnerships, in Liverpool and Salford, having originally helped to establish and structure all three partnerships. He oversees all planning and development activity and has played a key role in the recent progress with both partnerships, including the creation of a new joint venture company to accelerate the delivery of regeneration projects in Liverpool and the agreement of a new contract for the delivery of the next phase of residential development in Salford.
Graeme has over 20 years' experience in the property sector, encompassing project management, development and corporate finance roles. Prior to co-founding Inpartnership Ltd, he held senior roles at Gotham Investment Group, a property investment fund backed by Nomura Asset Capital, and with the associate office of Healey & Baker (now part of Cushman & Wakefield) in Moscow. Previously, he also worked for URS Corporation, the global engineering, design and construction company, on major residential and commercial development projects with groups such as Eagle Star Investment Managers, Bellway Group and Countryside Properties. Graeme holds a post-graduate diploma in Property Investment from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Graham Barnet, Chief Executive of Sigma, commented,
"I am delighted to welcome Graeme to the Board as Partnership Director. Graeme has been instrumental in the establishment and successful development of the three local authority partnerships we hold and his appointment to the Board recognises his significant contribution. I am confident that his expertise and skills will continue to assist the Group in delivering the potential within Sigma Inpartnership and within the Group as a whole."
