McBride PLC28 April 2006 Friday 28 April 2006 McBRIDE plc Board Announcement The Board of McBride plc, the leading supplier of Private Label Household andPersonal Care products for Europe's largest and most successful Retailers, ispleased to announce that Robert Beveridge will join the Board as an executivedirector in the capacity of Group Finance Director and Company Secretary witheffect from 10 May 2006. Robert, aged 50, is a Chartered Accountant and was Group Finance Director ofMarlborough Stirling plc from 2002 until its acquisition in 2005 by Vertex.Prior to that, Robert held the position of Group Finance Director of Cable andWireless Communications plc which followed extensive periods with both UnitedBiscuits plc and Mars Inc in senior financial roles.
