Pace Micro Technology PLC05 April 2006 5 April 2006 Pace Micro announces new Chief Executive Officer Pace Micro Technology has today announced that its new Chief Executive Officerwill be Neil Gaydon, current Board member and the Company's Director ofWorldwide Sales and Marketing. Neil Gaydon will become Chief Executive Officeron 14th April 2006 on the retirement of current Chief Executive John Dyson In his role as Worldwide Sales and Marketing Director Neil Gaydon has led thedevelopment of the Group's customer and product strategy and heads up Pace'sglobal sales, marketing, technology and product management teams. As President& General Manager Pace Americas from 1999 to 2003, Neil led Pace into the USmarket and through Neil's leadership Pace has signed a series of important newcustomers around the world. Neil has been at Pace since 1995 and joined thePace Board in June 2002. Sir Michael Bett, Pace's Chairman commented: "Through Neil's strategic visionPace has become a leader in the global markets for digital televisiontechnology, winning business with some of the world's most important operatorsthrough an outstanding product portfolio. To coincide with Neil Gaydon's appointment, David McKinney, who joined Pace inNovember 2005 as director of engineering and operations, has been promoted toChief Operating Officer.
