BOARD APPOINTMENT

The Board of UDG Healthcare plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Nancy Miller-Rich as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 20 June 2016.

Nancy is Senior Vice-President, Business Development & Licensing, Strategy and Commercial Support for Global Human Health at MSD, known as Merck in the United States and Canada. With more than thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry, Nancy's background includes sales, marketing, and business development for MSD, Schering-Plough, Sandoz (now Novartis), and Sterling Drug.

Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Mr Peter Gray said "we are delighted to welcome Nancy to the Board. As we increase our presence in the US, through both strong organic growth and acquisition, Nancy's experience in the US pharmaceutical market will be of great help to us as we continue the development of the Group".
