Board and Management Changes

Robert Walters plc ("the Company") (LSE: RWA), the global talent solutions business, announces that David Bower, its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has decided to retire and step down from the Board. Following this decision, the Company has appointed Jonathan Solesbury as its interim CFO. These changes will take place with immediate effect, although David Bower will remain available to the business through a period of transition. A search for a permanent CFO will commence in due course.

Jonathan Solesbury is a Board-level senior finance executive with extensive experience across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. After 22 years of senior international roles at SABMiller plc, Jonathan was instrumental in the turnaround of C&C Group plc as its CFO, of Aryzta AG as its interim CFO, and of Greencore Group plc as its interim CFO. Jonathan brings to the Company extensive experience of transformational change programmes, and will work closely with Chief Executive, Toby Fowlston, and the rest of the management team in this non-Board role as the Company continues its key initiatives to strengthen the business.

Leslie Van de Walle, Chair commented:

"On behalf of the Board, and the Group's employees, I would like to thank David for the significant contribution he has made to the business over the past three years and wish him well in his retirement. David has played a key role in both defining and implementing our long-term strategy and laying firm foundations to build on as market conditions recover."

"I am delighted that Jonathan has agreed to join the team as CFO on an interim basis. His strong and international track record of finance transformation, and driving business change to deliver accelerated, sustained and profitable growth, will be invaluable to the Company."

David Bower, outgoing CFO, commented:

"The past three years have undoubtedly been a turbulent period for global hiring markets, presenting a different set of challenges for the industry to those perhaps expected coming out of the post-Covid jobs surge. That said, I am immensely proud of the role I have played helping the business navigate the volatility. With the disciplined entrepreneurialism strategy beginning to take root, I wish Toby, the Board and all my Robert Walters colleagues every success for the future."

Jonathan Solesbury, incoming interim CFO, commented:

"Robert Walters is such a well-respected, global brand in the talent solutions space and I am very much looking forward to working with Toby and his team."
