SDL PLC18 July 2006 18 July 2006 SDL PLC Blocklisting application Application has been made for 3,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each fully paid tobe admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading onthe London Stock Exchange's markets for listed securities in relation to anincrease in the Company's existing Blocklisting. 720,000 ordinary shares will,when issued, be to satisfy exercise of options under the SDL Share OptionScheme, 660,000 ordinary shares will, when issued, be to satisfy exercise ofoptions under the SDL Approved Share Option Scheme (1999) and 1,620,000 ordinaryshares will, when issued, be to satisfy exercise of options under the SDLUnapproved Share Option Scheme (1999). The application is being made in relation to future exercises of options inaccordance with the scheme rules and therefore will not be allotted immediatelybut when issued will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares ofthe Company.
