Block listing

21 January 2014 Daily Mail and General Trust plc (`DMGT') 2006 Executive Share Option Scheme Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority (UKLA) and to the LondonStock Exchange for a total of 200,000 A Ordinary Non-Voting shares of 12.5pence each to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on Friday 24 January 2014. These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issuedpursuant to the DMGT 2006 Executive Share Option Scheme. When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing A OrdinaryNon-Voting shares.
