JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LIMITEDAPPLICATION FOR BLOCK LISTING OF NEW SHARES Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited (the "Company") announced today that it had made application to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange for admission to the Official List and a block listing of 1,360,000 fully-paid new ordinary shares of US$0.25 each of the Company (the "New Shares"). The New Shares will be allotted and issued on exercise of the share options granted under The Jardine Matheson International Share Option Plan 2005 between 2005 and 2009, and will rank, pari passu, with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.
