Low & Bonar PLC22 September 2005 LOW & BONAR PLC Low & Bonar PLC has applied to the UK Listing Authority and to the London StockExchange for a block listing of 700,000 ordinary shares of 50 pence each to beadmitted to the Official List. These shares will rank pari passu with theexisting ordinary shares of the Company. Of these 700,000 ordinary shares: (a) 200,000 ordinary shares will be issued in connection with the vesting of awards and future exercise of options under the terms of the Company's 2003 Long-Term Incentive Plan; and (b) 500,000 ordinary shares will be issued in connection with the future exercise of options granted under the Company's 1997 Sharesave Scheme.
