This announcement amends the detail of the Plan to which the application relates. All other details remain unchanged.

Dixons Retail plc (the "Company"), one of Europe's leading specialist multichannel electrical retail and services companies, announces that a block listing application has been made for 20,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 2.5 pence each in the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

These shares will be allotted in accordance with the rules of the Company's Sharesave Plan 2008 and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
