Block listing application

The Company announces that it has made a block listing application for an additional 7,904 ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') in connection with the CareTech Holdings 2005 Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme (the 'Scheme'). As a result, 11,776 Ordinary Shares are available to satisfy options under the Scheme.

Application has been made for the admission of the new Ordinary Shares to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. The new Ordinary Shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to the exercise of options under the Scheme.
