Inchcape PLC04 October 2006 4 October 2006 Inchcape plc ("the Company") Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange Plc for a total of 381,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p each ("Shares") to beadmitted to the Official List. It is expected that the application will be heard on 6 October 2006 andadmission will be effective on 9 October 2006. These shares are being reserved under block listings and will be issued pursuantto the following plan/scheme: Plan/Scheme Shares The Inchcape 1999 Share Option Plan 381,000 When issued these Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.
