Man Group plc (the "Company")

Block Listing Application

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission to the Official List of a Block Listing of 1,223,717 new Ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents each in Man Group plc and to the London Stock Exchange for such Block Listed shares to be admitted to trading.

The application is being made in respect of shares to be issued in respect of the Man Group 2006 Long Term Incentive Plan.

The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company.

Admission of such shares to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange is expected to occur on Tuesday 23rd March 2010.
