For immediate release 7 June 2007 LiDCO Group Plc ('the Company') LiDCO announces exclusive critical care marketing collaboration with Becton Dickinson UK
LiDCO, the UK based, AIM-quoted cardiovascular monitoring company, today announces the signing of an exclusive UK marketing collaboration with Becton, Dickinson U.K. Limited. BD is a leading global medical technology company (see www.bd.com).
The collaboration provides that certain products currently sold by the BD Medical - Medical Surgical Systems unit for the critical care market will be jointly promoted in selected UK hospitals where LiDCO has existing sales and customer relationships. LiDCO's strong customer relationship with critical care units in UK hospitals was a key factor in BD's decision to collaborate. This marketing collaboration will result in enhanced sales coverage for BD's critical care product lines in the territory. Under the terms of the agreement, LiDCO will receive a fee based on sales in return for its promotional services.
The marketing collaboration will include the promotion by LiDCO of the following products: BD DTX Plus¢â€ž¢ Disposable Blood Transducers and BD Gabarith¢â€ž¢ Disposable Transducer Sets; BD¢â€ž¢ Reusable Pressure Transducers, Disposable Domes & Accessories ; BD Safedraw¢â€ž¢ "Closed Loop" Arterial Blood Sampling Sets;
BD Exacta¢â€ž¢ Percutaneous Sheath Introducer Sets; BD Criticath¢â€ž¢ Pulmonary Artery Catheters; BD Critikit¢â€ž¢ Injectate Systems; BD Careflow¢â€ž¢ Central Venous Catheters and BD Hydrocath Assure¢â€ž¢ Antimicrobial Coated Central Venous Catheters.
